CORINNE TIGHE
As one of the world famous Radio City Rockettes, Corinne Tighe has performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for the past nine seasons. Corinne started her dance training at Chez Renee School of Dance and Broadway Dance Theatre. She has trained at Steps and Broadway Dance Center with Michele Assaf and Sheila Barker in New York City. During her college years, she pursued a degree in Fine Arts at Towson University and earned a BS in Business Management graduating “magna cum laude” from Kean University in 2008.
When not performing, she is traveling across the country promoting the Christmas Spectacular. She has been a dance educator teaching master classes in jazz, modern, ballet, tap, hip hop and musical theatre at studios, competitions and workshops throughout the country.
In 2011, she choreographed the opening number for the “The Garden of Dreams Foundation” for the children’s talent show which performed at Radio City. Corinne appeared with the Rockettes at “Fashion Night Out ” at the Michael Kor’s premier opening. For the past three years, she has choreographed for the Artisian Theatre in Dallas, Texas producing the musicals “Cats” and “Les Miserables”. Other theatre credits include summer stock at the Ogunquit Playhouse in “Cinderella” and Plays in the Park Productions including performances in “Crazy for You”, “Peter Pan”, “The King and I” and “Hello Dolly”.
Corinne could be seen in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, the 2004 Tony Awards with Hugh Jackman, on Live with Regis and Kelly and the Today Show. She has been featured in numerous photo shoots for the Sun Glass Hut Holiday Catalog and the Boston Magazine.Corinne is a gifted dancer and teacher, able to reach each students “where they are”. With her combination of humor, high energy, sensitivity and professionalism, she inspires her students to attain their personal best.
