LISA CARDUCCI DERINGOR
Lisa Carducci is originally from Detroit Michigan. Growing up Lisa studied classical ballet and earned Grades I - VII from the Checcetti Council of America. She has performed lead roles in Cinderella, Coppelia and Swan Lake. At the age of 19 she moved to Los Angeles CA, receiving a dance scholarship to Tremaine Dance Center to continue her dance education. There she studied ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and break-dancing.
Following scholarship, Lisa started working as a professional dancer and choreographer. She has performed on MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Awards, HBO Comedy Awards, and Apollo Live. Her credits also include numerous videos, live performances, Industrials and commercials. She has worked with such artists as Brittany Spears, N’Sync, Lenny Kravitz, Taking Back Sunday, James Blunt, and more.
She has taught at several studios in the Los Angeles area and nationally.
Lisa resides in Williamsburg VA, where she is the Artist Director of The Movement Dance Company and Artistic Manager and Instructor at Institute for Dance, Inc. When she’s not at iDance or spending time with her family, Lisa travels the world as a master teacher and choreographer.
