SARAH KRAFT

Sarah Kraft has been a part of the dance industry for over twenty five years. She's danced for the Goo Goo Dolls, Jessie McCartney, Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts, and was featured in a Taylor Swift music video. She's performed in many hair/fashion shows, flash mobs and special performances in the Detroit Metro area.

 

Sarah traveled to New York City to train with The Joffrey Ballet School. While there, she was chosen to perform a piece by Marles Yearby, the choreographer from the Broadway show "RENT." Sarah takes her dance education and teaching very seriously and has attended The Pulse, 24/7 Dance Convention and The Dance Teacher Summit in California and New York. She has taken classes from Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Denise Wall, Stacey Tookey, Twitch, Dave Scott, Sonya Tayeh, Al Blackstone and many more.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major of Dance and a Minor of Business Administration from Wayne State University. At Wayne State she had the opportunity to train and perform under many professional names and companies. Sarah is currently earning her Masters of Arts degree at Wayne State university, in theater and dance education.

 

Sarah has been teaching for over 15 years and is the Director of Drop Everything & Dance Studio. She teaches all ages and styles. Sarah continues to travel  throughout Michigan to teach choreography and master classes. She has choreographed for many high schools, middle schools, universities and studios throughout Michigan. All have placed with top honors, earning her many choreography awards and titles, such as "Teacher of the Year",  at KAR Nationals. 

 

She judges for KAR and Rainbow Dance Competition. She's on staff at Reaction Dance Force as a choreographer, judge and camp instructor.

Sarah loves to share her passion for dance and is excited to help other dancers find that same passion.
